SIM Sarge does not ask for your name, account, phone number, passport details or payment details in the briefing flow. Your answers are used in your browser to show eSIM recommendations.

The site records lightweight operational events such as destination selected, briefing completed, provider button clicked and backup-comms modal opened. These events can include the page URL, referrer, approximate session identifier stored in session storage, destination, provider and plan ID. They help SIM Sarge spot stale briefings and broken money paths without collecting checkout details.

Events are stored in the SIM Sarge WordPress database and may also be pushed to the page data layer if analytics tooling is present. Server logs may also be processed by the web host for security, abuse prevention and service diagnostics.

Outbound provider links may use affiliate or redirect tracking. Data recipients can include the destination eSIM provider, affiliate network or hosting/analytics vendors needed to operate the site. SIM Sarge does not sell personal data.

Cookies and browser storage: the briefing does not require an account cookie. SIM Sarge uses session storage for an anonymous session ID used with event measurement. WordPress, security tooling, hosting or analytics tools may set their own cookies when required to operate or protect the site.

Retention: operational events are kept only as long as useful for site measurement, link QA, fraud prevention and debugging, and are periodically reviewed. Server logs and vendor records follow the retention settings of the relevant host, analytics or affiliate platform.

Legal basis, where UK GDPR or similar laws apply, is legitimate interests for site security, analytics, affiliate attribution and improving recommendations. If consent tooling is added for optional analytics, that tooling will control those optional events.
